Vocational Adult Community Education .

The Martin County Schools Department of Vocational, Adult
and Community Education offers a far-reaching spectrum of programs to serve a broad range of individuals, from newborns to school age students, to adults and senior citizens.

VACE is in the business of providing quality opportunities for Martin County residents of all ages, to enrich their lives academically, professionally, economically, and culturally.

Community Education
Learn for the fun of it! Adult Community Education classes offer adults of all ages the opportunity to expand their interests in art, fitness, motorcycle safety training, technology, foreign language, dance, special interest, and more! Choose from over 60 exciting classes - and all are at a nominal fee.

Registration Information
UPDATED: LEARN FOR THE FUN OF IT: WINTER 2009 classes begin the week of January 12, 2009. Registration is TUESDAY January 6, 2009 from 6-8 pm in room C-9 at Martin County High School. Late registrations are accepted January 7,8 and the week of January 12th  pending availability of classes.

Office hours are Monday-Thursday from 2pm-9pm. For additional information, call (772) 219-1828 or visit our website: vace.sbmc.org. A mail in registration form is available on our website.

Classes begin the week of January 12th. Most sessions are 10(ten weeks)

Dance - Belly Dancing, Zumba, South Beach Aerobic Dancing

Language - Spanish, German, French, Adult Child Spanish and Italian
Special Interest - English Bell Choir, Bridge, Mah Jongg, Magic as a Hobby, Family Tree, Clutter Control, Healthy Cooking, Keeping Appetizers Simple, No Reason Brunch and Effective Communication

Martin County School District Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs offer students the opportunity to learn academic and career-specific knowledge and skills for entry-level employment in the workplace and post-secondary education.  Programs focus on academic requirements and employ technology to teach students the requisite knowledge and skills for a specific CTE program.
